For people who present numbers

Every great presentation is built on good data

The deck is the easy part. The numbers behind it are not: exported, pasted and out of date by the time you present. Sheets reads them live from the tools your business runs on, so every chart you show is today's.

  • Live numbers, no copy and paste
  • Charts and dashboards that stay current
  • Built by you or your AI assistant
The problem

A slide is only as good as its numbers

Most presentation time goes into collecting figures: exporting reports, pasting them into a spreadsheet, rebuilding the chart, and doing it all again when someone asks for this week's numbers.

  1. Copied numbers go staleThe figure on slide 4 was right on Thursday. In Monday's meeting it is not.
  2. Every chart is rebuilt by handNew data means a new export, a new paste and a new chart, every single time.
  3. Nobody trusts the totalWhen numbers are retyped, the first question in the room is where they came from.
How Sheets helps

Good data in, a better presentation out

  1. Connect your toolQuickBooks Online, Xero, Shopify or monday.com. Sheets reads the data where it lives, with your permissions.
  2. Build the numbers onceSpreadsheet formulas, pivot tables and charts on live data. Write them yourself, or let an AI assistant such as Claude build them.
  3. Present a live dashboardOpen the dashboard in the meeting and filter it on the spot, or put its chart on your slide: it is current every time you open it.
  4. Send it before the meetingSchedule the report as PDF or .xlsx so everyone arrives with the same numbers.

To be clear: Sheets does not make slides. It makes the numbers, charts and dashboards your slides and meetings rely on, and keeps them current.

FAQ

Questions

Can I put a Sheets chart on a slide?

Yes. Export the dashboard or report as PDF or .xlsx and use its charts, or present the live dashboard itself in the meeting: it shows today's numbers and can be filtered on the spot.

Where do the numbers come from?

From the tools you connect: today QuickBooks Online, Xero, Shopify and monday.com, with more on the roadmap. Sheets reads them live with your permissions.

Can an AI assistant prepare the numbers?

Yes. Connect Claude or another MCP client and ask it to build the dashboard for your meeting. It works with the access you grant and every change is recorded.

Do I need to learn a new tool?
