What is Sheets?
Sheets is a spreadsheet that reads your business data live from the tools you already use, such as your accounting software or your online store. Formulas, pivot tables and charts work on that data directly, so reports stay current without exporting.
Which tools does Sheets work with?
Today: QuickBooks Online, Xero, Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, HubSpot, FreshBooks, monday.com, and Asana. 76 more are on the roadmap, among them Square, Docusign, Paychex Flex, Clover, and Zoho CRM.
Do I have to learn new formulas?
No. Sheets evaluates 491 standard spreadsheet functions with the usual names, arguments and results, including dynamic arrays, LET and LAMBDA, and exports to .xlsx.
Can AI assistants work in my sheets?
Yes, if you allow it. Sheets has an MCP server: connect Claude or another MCP client and it can read your sheets and live data, write formulas and build dashboards, with read-only or read-and-edit access that you can revoke at any time. It is available on monday.com and Shopify today.
Does Sheets change my data?
The accounting and store integrations only read. On monday.com you can edit items in a linked table and send the changes back to the board yourself.
Where is my data?
Sheets reads your data from the tool when a sheet opens or refreshes, and keeps it at most in a short-lived cache. Spreadsheets and settings are stored in the EU; tokens are encrypted.
