SUMIFS function

Conditional sum. SUMIFS works in Sheets with the usual arguments and results, on cells and on live data from the tools you connect.

Syntax

=SUMIFS(sum_range, range1, criterion1, ...)
ArgumentUse
sum_rangerequired
range1required, repeatable
criterion1required, repeatable

Example

Total paid orders for one customer: every condition must match.

fx=SUMIFS(E2:E7, B2:B7, "Acme Ltd", D2:D7, "Paid")

On live data

In Sheets, SUMIFS sits next to live data from a connected tool: =data.orders.sum(total) totals a table, =list.orders(customer) spills a column's distinct values, and a linked table column such as table.orders[Total] is a range any function accepts.
