What you will build on Slack

Each is one formula on live data. These are examples of the syntax: the column names will follow Slack's own fields once the integration ships.

=data.activity.sum(messages, channel, A2)
Channel activity. Messages per channel and week, to see which ones are alive.
=data.activity.sum(messages)
Reports in the channel. A sheet summary posted to a channel on a schedule.

How it will run

Your data stays in Slack

Sheets will open inside Slack, as an app in its own interface, and read your data through Slack's API with your permission. We plan to list it in the Slack Marketplace.
