Reports on your accounting data

Each report is one formula on live data. Type it in a cell; when a formula refers to A2, list the values in column A first (for example with =list.<table>(<column>)) and fill the formula down.

=data.invoices.sum(balance, status, "Overdue")
Overdue receivables. Everything customers owe past the due date. Sheets computes the Status column (Paid, Open or Overdue) from the balance and due date.
=data.invoices.sum(balance, customer, A2, status, "<>Paid")
Receivables by customer. Put the customers in column A with =list.invoices(customer) and the open balance beside each one.
=data.invoices.sum(total, date, ">=2026-01-01")
Invoiced this year. Total invoiced since 1 January; change the date to compare periods.
=data.bills.sum(balance, status, "<>Paid")
Bills to pay. Open and overdue bills, the cash you need to set aside.
=data.expenses.sum(total, payee, A2)
Spending by payee. Expenses per payee, ready for a pivot table or a bar chart.
=data.payments_received.sum(amount, payment_method, A2)
Payments received per method. Cash in by payment method, per row in column A.
=data.customers.count(id, open_balance, ">0")
Customers with an open balance. How many customers still owe you something.

Build it on your own data

Invoices, bills, customers and the chart of accounts become tables that formulas, pivot tables and charts read directly. Your numbers stay current without exporting.
