Delete your account and data
For the drop.top app and drop.top, both published by 4Cs BV, Lindekensweg 3, 2160 Wommelgem, Belgium.
Ask us to delete it
Fill this in and we will confirm by email. If you have never signed in, we have no name or address for you, so give us the device identifier, which the app shows under its own settings. Without at least one of them we cannot find the rows to erase, and we would rather say so than accept a request we cannot act on.
What we delete
If you are a subscriber (you follow a channel on your phone and never signed up for anything):
- The device record: the random identifier the app generated, its push token, and its platform, app version, language and time zone.
- Every subscription that device holds, and the permissions it granted each channel.
- Every record of that device having opened or acknowledged an alert.
If you run channels, that also covers:
- Your account details, meaning your email address, your name if you gave one, and your password hash.
- Your sign-in sessions, including the IP address and browser recorded when you signed in.
- Your workspace, your channels, and the alerts they sent.
- Files you uploaded to attach to an alert or to brand a channel.
- Every API key and every assistant connection issued from the account.
What we keep, and why
- Invoices and their supporting records, for seven years. Belgian accounting law requires us to be able to account for what we sold. These are kept for that purpose alone and are not used to profile you.
- Totals that identify nobody. The daily counts behind a channel's analytics remain, because once the device records are removed from them there is no personal data left to erase.
- The staff audit trail. A record of who changed what is worth nothing if it can be pruned by the person who wants it pruned.
We never held your location, so there is nothing of that to delete. A channel that targets a circle sends the circle; your phone does the comparison itself and tells us nothing. See our privacy policy for the full retention table.
How long it takes
We answer within one month, which is the limit the GDPR sets. Most requests are done sooner. If we cannot identify you from what you sent, we will write back and say so rather than close the request quietly.
